This is a very interesting and cool Rolex Oyster that we believe would have been a special order by the Sultan of Oman. Known as prolific collector of watches, the Sultan was known for commissioning special Rolex watches that featured the national emblem of Oman, the Khanjar dagger and swords, to give as gifts to special visitors and people who worked for him.
This 34mm steel case is in good condition with strong lugs and a clean smooth bezel. The silver dial has a wonderful vertical brushed finish, interesting doorstop hour markers and the Khanjar logo in the lower half where normally there would be the COSC text. The bracelet is a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 78350, with a clasp stamped ‘L 1’ and ref 557 endlinks, that remains in excellent condition. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
We love these special presentation watches and have written about them here. Please get in touch to discuss this watch and other that we can offer you.
